On the west coast
From green open spaces, horses, cowboys and country music to tall buildings, traffic, Hip hop/ RNB and friends. A few hours makes a big difference. San Francisco I'm all yours again!
Imagine
My camera is messing with me, it won't work and it's driving me crazy. I wish I could have taken pictures today when we went canoeing cause the view was stunning! Imagine yourself in a canoe, high mountains on one side and green forest on the other. The sun makes the water glitter and all of a sudden there's a black bear swimming across the lake, not far from the canoe. Wasn't that picture beautiful? That's what I saw today.
Friday in Jackson Hole
I survived! My host mom had a dinner party tonight with over 30 people of which 16 were children. Badminton, "piggy wants a signal" and Ice Age kept them busy. Now I'm tired and tomorrow we're going canoeing at some lake!
My fluffy little friend
I'm not really sure where the text disappeared in my last post, but who honestly cares?
Today we celebrated that Joie (the dog) has been living with my host family for one year! We went to the animal shelter here in Jackson hole to visit since that's where he came from. This evening we spent by an open fire in the backyard where we ate dinner and made s'mores. First time I've ever tried that which is sad cause it was really good! Joie got special s'mores made of dog treats and peanut butter.
Collecting sunlight
Nothing is impossible as long as your heart is with you
Today's big mission was to have a lemonade stand with homemade lemonade and cookies. Mission completed, kids happy with some money in their pockets.
This last week in Jackson Hole is going to be packed with fun things. On Monday we're going back to SF. I actually miss the city, crowded with people and cars.
Let's go hiking
First of all: yeeey the blog app works again! Second of all: we are on our way out on a hike. And since I love nature I'm very excited!
